In addition to the traditional POP, you can now receive emails via IMAP.
You can access it from email clients and backup apps that only support IMAP.
This feature is only available to accounts with a premium plan enabled.
Select the address you want to access from the "Addresses" tab > "Your Email Address"
Open "POP/IMAP/SMTP" and switch the (Receiving) column to "IMAP" to display the IMAP settings information.
Because the design of disposable email addresses is significantly different from traditional email protocols, we use a new, proprietary IMAP4 server.
The following mailers are currently confirmed to work:
・iOS/iPadOS Mail ・Android (Gmail) Mail ・Microsoft Outlook
・Thunderbird
・MacOS Mail
IMAP allows you to access up to 500 new emails (same as POP).
All emails are stored for one month, just like disposable email address apps, and flagging them acts as protection.
However, POP is generally superior in terms of speed, stability, and offline use, so
Use IMAP only if POP is not supported.
Disposable Email Address will continue to support POP in the future.
