・Mobile low quality mode is now available on iPad
By default, the iPad displays the canvas at the same full resolution as a computer.
If you join a room with a large canvas on a model with low memory, there may be a crash.
Added the ability to optionally switch to "mobile low image quality mode" similar to Android and iPhone.

This can be enabled by turning on "Low quality mode" on the admission page.


When low quality mode is enabled, canvases larger than 1000x1000 will be downsampled to within 1000x1000.
For example, on a 3000 x 3000 canvas, the image quality will be 1/3.

As a guideline, iPads with 3GB or more of memory (Muji 7th generation or later, Air 3rd generation or later, mini 3rd generation or later, Pro) are full resolution,
Below that, we recommend lower image quality.

You can save 500MB of replay data per room.



By default, saved replays can only be played by the owner.
When you publish a replay, a URL like the one below will be generated, allowing people other than the owner to play it.

*For rooms with a password, a password is required to play.
*Only the owner can save the canvas to "Saved Canvas" by selecting "Save" → "Save to Room" in a specific replay scene. It is also possible to restore the current canvas using that data.

With the conventional replay function, you cannot record unless you are participating in the room, and the operation becomes slow while recording.
There were some drawbacks, such as if you forgot to press the record button, the recording would start midway through, and it was a hassle to transfer the file when you wanted to show it to someone.
The automatic replay recording function allows you to save your play anytime within 3 days, and you can also show it to others by simply sharing the URL.

It can be used in planning picture chats, etc., such as ``If you fell asleep during the event or were unable to participate, please watch the public replay later.''
In addition to passing the URL, replays that have been set to public can be viewed in a list from "Canvas Replays" on the room entry page.

The following states can be saved as presets.

To use this feature, open Settings → Tool Preset Settings.
There are currently 5 presets available, and pressing each "Save" button will save the current state as a preset.

iOS app version v2.2.1 and Android/KindleFire app version v2020.07.13.2 have been released.
We are making the following updates.

- Supports pen double tap operation on iPad + Apple Pencil (2nd generation or later).
By default, the behavior can be set in iPadOS "Settings" → "Apple Pencil".

You can overwrite the setting, replace it with drawing cancellation, or disable it from "Settings" → "Operation Settings" → "Apple Pencil Double Tap" on MagicalDraw side.


*Apple Pencil (1st generation) does not support double tap operation.
