We have switched to the emergency network and are operating.

During busy hours, the emergency network is expected to be short of bandwidth, and the following functions may not be available normally.

・Watching time shift (buffering occurs frequently and may not be viewed properly)
・Smartphone distribution from iPhone (Android smartphone distribution is not affected)

We are currently working to restore the network, but it is expected to take some time due to the holiday.

The distribution app "kukuluLIVE Encoder 2 (Android version)" has been updated.



- Added "screen capture" function. This is a mode that allows you to broadcast your smartphone screen.
You can stream game app play, etc. without the need for a computer.
If you turn on the comment reading function, comments will be read out loud even when you are using other apps.

・Improved encoder performance
Now uses Android native hardware encoder,
Reduced battery usage, heat generation, bandwidth consumption, latency, etc.

Regarding the name notation of kukuluID, the nickname was hidden when Twitter authentication was performed.
If a nickname is set even when authenticating with Twitter, the nickname is now used for the name notation.

If you have not set a nickname, your Twitter name will be used as usual.
If you think that your name has changed without permission, you may have set a nickname in the past.

Previously, iOS and Android versions were released using a common code base, but

With the new kukuluLIVE Player (Android version), you can now watch with the same UX as the smartphone browser version and PC version.
It also operates more easily than before, and consumes less battery.
Future updates can be reflected in real time without the need to update the app.



In addition to the same functions as the smartphone browser version, the following functions are available in the app version.

- Low resolution mode is now available
If you are logged in with kukulu ID, you can open the settings screen while watching and turn on "low quality mode".

In normal mode, playback is performed at the bit rate set by the streamer (about 1M to 3Mbps).
In low quality mode, you can play at 500Kbps.
This mode is useful in places where the radio waves are unstable or when you want to reduce the amount of data communication.

However, since the server does not have the ability to always encode all distributions,
The specification is such that encoding starts on the server side after a request for playback in low image quality mode is received.
For this reason, there will be a waiting time of approximately 5 to 20 seconds before viewing begins.


These features are supported from version 1.9.9.
Both iOS and Android versions are already available.

・Added a throwaway email address limited domain to streamer level benefits <br>Streamers whose streamer level is "Hyena (Lv2)" or higher can use the streamer exclusive domain "@ktuber.net" as a "throwaway email address". It is now possible to issue up to 3 campaign codes that can be used.
A campaign code can be issued and used by following the steps below.

1. Click "Issue campaign code" from "Other > Discarded email address" in the settings column of the broadcast slot management page.


2. Click on the issued campaign code to copy it.


3. Open the throwaway email address (https://m.kuku.lu/) and register the code from "Your User Information > Enter Campaign Code".

*If you are already using the code on your smartphone, please make sure you are logged in to the same Takumead account on your computer before using the code.

4. The broadcaster-only domain "@ktuber.net" will be added to "Add by specifying email address", and you can create as many as you like using that throwaway email account.


Once the campaign code is used for a throwaway email account, it cannot be reused.
You can issue up to three copies, so the remaining two can be gifted to friends.


Takumeadaku is a service that allows you to create and manage an unlimited number of disposable e-mail addresses for game registration and for an unlimited period of time.

Foreshadowing has the following advantages:
